We at Timeless Pints Brewing Company are excited to announce that one of our customer favorites is back! Our Spring seasonal, the Celtic Stout, will be back on tap at the brewery just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Brewed in the Irish tradition, the Timeless Pints Celtic Stout is loaded with roasted barley for a dark color and rich flavor profile. This smooth stout is served on nitro for the classic mouth feel you would expect from an Irish seasonal.
This isn’t the first stout-style beer Head Brewer Chris Sparacio has brewed, in fact one of our most popular beers is his original Huckleberry Oatmeal Stout. This beer uses fresh huckleberries from Idaho and is unlike any other Oatmeal Stout in our area. However, when Chris first brewed the Celtic Stout in 2014, it was his first attempt brewing an Irish style stout.
“Part of what I love about brewing is occasionally breaking away from our normal line up and creating a great new seasonal,” Chris said. “The anticipation is kind of an exciting rush. When our customers express their satisfaction, well… that’s icing on the cake!”
The new stout was a big success! Customers loved it, and when the batch ran out we had several people asking us to brew another. “I’m very happy with the body and roasted flavors of the beer,” Chris added.
Just like last year, we are very excited to offer the traditional Irish Stout to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. This year we’ll be hosting a big party at the brewery on Tuesday, March 17th from 2-7pm that will feature the Celtic Stout.
But that’s not all! We’ll also have 10 gallons of our new Green Tea/Clover Honey IPA on tap for St. Patrick’s Day only. This limited release beer is brewed with Pale, Munich and Crystal malts for a light golden color. It gets its floral, citrus, herbal and fruity flavor and aroma from Nugget, Columbus, Citra and Centennial hops as well as Green Tea and Clover Blossom Honey. It has 68 IBU’s and an ABV of 8.2%. We’ll be pouring 10 ounce glasses until it runs out, which we hope will be close to last call so everyone who wants to can get a taste!
“I love the way people rally around a good time,” Chris commented. “Whether we have some Irish blood in us or not, we can all enjoy in the celebration.”
Grillfellas BBQ will be at the brewery from 2-7pm serving corned beef, brisket and other specials. One of our favorite bands, Monkey Finger Duo will be performing live from 5-7pm and they tell us we can expect a few Irish drinking songs throughout their performance! So, whether you’re Irish or not, you can still join in on the festivities. Come by and grab a few pints of our Celtic Stout or 10 ounce pours of the new IPA with your friends while you listen to some awesome live music and enjoy the best brisket in the area.
But keep in mind that our Celtic Stout is very limited and our Green Tea/Clover Honey IPA is even more limited – so once they’re gone, they’re gone. Trust us, you don’t want to miss out on these two. Get them while they lasts! However you choose to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day holiday, just make sure you’re happy, safe, and you’ve got a great craft beer in your hand. Cheers!
